At age 19, I was a star athlete and competitor, college football wide receiver, and champion kickboxer who’d just had his last fight televised on ESPN.
Then, a devastating car accident broke my neck and paralyzed me from the chest down. Doctors told me I would most likely spend the rest of my life confined to a wheelchair.
