In her current non-profit role, Katy is the Executive Director of TeamWomen, an organization focused on empowering female leaders from the classroom to the boardroom.  A premiere professional women’s organization, the 675 members of TeamWomen include key business, sports, civic and community leaders committed to professional development and mentoring. In addition, TeamWomen provides youth leadership development through its Empower Leadership Academy focused on developing confidence, resilience, mental wellness, and leadership skills.

Katy brings her lifelong experience and perspective to TeamWomen, its hundreds of members, and the broader community as a role model, teacher, and thought leader. A powerful catalyst and advocate for women supporting, connecting, and empowering other women to help everyone thrive and succeed. Current board service includes Relate Counseling Center, TeamWomen Board of Directors, and Advisory Board of the Twin Cities Film Fest.
